DR Congo international Michee Efete limped off with injury in the last league match, with fellow defender Andy Smith likely to step up.

The experienced centre-back continued playing for Kalmar FF at the senior level, but in 2016 he decided to take a step forward in his career, signing a deal with J-League club Nagoya Grampus. Ludvig Ohman played for the likes of AFC Eskilstuna and IF Brommapojkarna as well before joining his current club.
Ohman made his Grimsby Town debut in a 2-2 draw with Oldham Athletic on September 14, 2019, finding the net in the dying minutes of the match. The 191-cm tall defender has eight caps with the Sweden U19 team while making eight appearances with the U17 team. He can be used as both centre and right back.
