Colchester
Sutton welcome Colchester United to their Gander Green Lane on day 21 of the new League Two campaign. Sutton are stuck in the middle of the table with 23 points on their account, but they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. Since there are no fresh injury worries in the home team, Matt Gray is unlikely to make changes to the starting XI that faced the Cumbrians at the weekend.
The U’s, on the other hand, suffered three defeats in the previous four league fixtures. Colchester are not regarded as good travellers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Sutton’s party at Gander Green Lane. The pacey forward scored his first goal for the national team in a 3-0 win over Guinea on February 1, 2015. Appiah started his club career at Ebbsfleet United, but the list of clubs he played for is pretty long.
Appiah wore Peterborough United, Weymouth, King’s Lynn, Kettering Town, Brackley Town, Thurrock, Margate, Crystal Palace, Aldershot Town, Yeovil Town, Cambridge United, Notts County, Reading and Viking shirts before signing a permanent deal with AFC Wimbledon in 2017. His main position is centre-forward, but he is capable of producing fine performances as both second striker and left winger as well.
