Our prediction for this Serie A match:
The ground at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona will shake when Napoli and Juventus face each other in the Serie A derby on Friday evening. The Neapolitans aim to move one step closer to winning their first Scudetto since 1990, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against “the Old Lady”. Luciano Spalleti has a full squad to choose from, and the experienced tactician is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Sampdoria 2-0 at the weekend.
Max Allegri’s troops, on the other hand, are eyeing their ninth consecutive league win, but Napoli will pose a much bigger threat for the Bianconeri than their previous rivals. Over the years Napoli have turned their stadium into a real fortress, and given their impressive home record in the 2022/2023 season (7-1-0), we predict that the visitors will return to Turin empty-handed. All Kaio Jorge, Pogba, Bonucci, Cuadrado, Vlahovic, and De Sciglio should miss out through injuries for the away team.

Born in Nuoro, Italy on January 12, 1987, Salvatore Sirigu began his career at the youth team of Venezia at the age of 15. After spending four years at the club, Sirigu moved to Palermo in 2005 and he continued playing for the Sicilian club at senior level. The 192-cm-tall shot-stopper made 69 appearances for the Rosanero in the league and it has to be noted that he played for the like of Cremonese and Ancona (on loan) in Italy as well.
On July 28, 2011 Salvatore Sirigu signed a four-year deal with big-spending French club Paris Saint-Germain and he did well to win four Ligue 1 titles with les Parisiens. In the summer of 2017 he returned to Italy, signing a two-year deal with Torino.
Speaking of his international career, Sirigu won silver medal with Italy at the 2012 European Championship as the Azzurri suffered a heavy 4-0 loss to Spain in the title game at Olympic Stadium in Kiev. He made his international debut for Italy on August 10, 2010 in a 1-0 loss to Ivory Coast.
Highlighted Team (Juventus):

Juventus are considered one of the greatest European football clubs. The Bianconeri (The White and Blacks) have won two Champions League trophies (1985, 1996) and they did well to clinch three UEFA Cup titles (1977, 1990, 1993). The Italian giants have won 32 Serie A trophies and it is well known that a number of star players were part of Juve in the past.
The likes of Alessandro Del Piero, Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini, Lilian Thuram, Filippo Inzaghi, Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet all played for Juventus, whilst legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has yet to retire. Juve were stripped two domestic trophies during the “Calciopoli” scandal, but despite being relegated to Serie B, the club quickly brought glory days back to Turin. The Bianconeri used to play their home games at Stadio delle Alpi, but nowadays they welcome their rivals at Juventus Stadium.
The capacity of the stadium is 41,475. La Vechhia Signora (The Old Lady) is yet another nickname of the club. Juve’s biggest rivals are Torino and the two local rivals take on each other in the Turin derby.
