Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
There will be fireworks when Feyenoord and PSV take on each other at De Kuip in the Eredivisie derby. Feyenoord aim to cement top position in the standings, but Sunday’s clash will be anything but a walk in the park for the home side. Winger Igor Paixao is pushing for a start, while defender Gernot Trauner remains on the sidelines with a knee problem. Santiago Gimenez, who found the net in a 1-1 draw with Twente, is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
Meanwhile, the visitors aim to build on a 2-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles. Ruud van Nistelrooy can count on key players for Sunday’s derby, and even though Thorgan Hazard has yet to sign a loan deal with PSV, we predict that the visitors will hold Feyenoord to a draw in Rotterdam. Mauro Junior is banned for the match, while both Savio and Olivier Boscagli are major doubts.
