Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Ponferradina and Cartagena take on each other at Estadio El Toralin in what is expected to be a close Segunda Division game. La Ponfe aim to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Las Palmas, with the team eyeing their first league win since January 6, 2023. Adrian Dieguez is banned for the match, as well as Heriberto Tavares and Daniel Ojeda, while Hugo Vallejo misses out with a muscle injury.
Meanwhile, the visitors played out a goalless draw with Deportivo Alaves in their last league match, with the team remaining in the playoffs race. Cartagena are undefeated in the previous three league games, but seeing that the hosts want this win more than the visitors, we are tempted to put our money on David Gallego’s troops. You should bear in mind that Ponferradina emerged triumphant in each of their last three meetings with Cartagena. Toni Datkovic is banned for the match, while fellow defender Kiko Olivas remains in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Lukaku):

Jordan Lukaku is well known for his older brother Romelu Lukaku, who plays for Everton as a striker. Jordan began his senior career at Anderlecht, but he made no more than eight league appearances for the club. The left-footed full-back played for fellow Belgian outfit Oostende from 2013 to 2016 and at the end of the 2015/2016 season he moved to Italy.
Jordan Lukaku signed a deal with Italian club Lazio for a fee of £5 million (plus £1 million in bonuses). His main position is left-back, but he is capable of playing as a left midfielder as well. Speaking of his international career, Jordan Lukaku made his Belgium debut against Andorra on 10 October, 2015.
However, he has yet to find the net for the Belgian national team. Jordan was born in Antwerp on 25 July, 1994. His father Roger Lukaku was a professional footballer as well and played for the Zaire national team.
Highlighted Team (Cartagena):

Founded on July 25, 1995, Cartagena is a Spanish football club that plays in La Liga 2. Los Boquerones dropped to Segunda B in the 2011/12 season, but following an eight-year absence, they returned to the Spanish second tier.
Cartagena play home matches at Cartagonova, the venue which can hold 15,105 spectators. The stadium was built by CMMP Arquitectos in 1987, and opened the following year. Real Murcia are regarded as the club’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Derbi of the Region of Murcia. Toche is leading Cartagena’s all-time top goalscoring chart with 39 goals.
Los Boquerones are well known for their black shirts with white stripes. Red, on the other hand, is the dominant colour of the club’s away kit. It has to be noted that Cartagena have never competed in la liga. The club’s highest ranking in the Segunda Division came in the 2009/10 season when they finished the campaign in 5th position in the standings.
