Following a 2-2 draw with Arminia Bielefeld, Nurnberg will look to return to winning ways in 2. Bundesliga when they take on Darmstadt on Matchday 26. The Bavarians came from two goals behind to share the spoils with Arminia, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. Nurnberg are only four points clear of the relegation zone, meaning that Friday’s clash is of big importance for the home side. All Lukas Schleimer, Danny Blum, Erik Wekesser, Christian Mathenia, and Tim Handwerker remain on the sidelines with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Lilywhites, on the other hand, are leading the chase for automatic promotion.
