Following a heavy 3-0 loss to St Louis City, Houston Dynamo will look to get back on course when they take on Los Angeles FC on Sunday morning. The Orange Crush continue with their habit of producing much better displays at home than on the travels and you should bear in mind that they are eyeing their sixth home triumph of the process. Colombia forward Nelson Quinones is back from suspension, while all Teenage Hadebe, Tate Schmitt, and Ifunanyachi Achara remain in the treatment room.
Los Angeles FC, on the other hand, are seen as one of the main candidates to win the Eastern Conference and even though Houston are tough to beat at home, away win should be considered. The hosts experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the defeat to St Louis City and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing something from Sunday’s clash. Over the years Carlos Vela has established himself as one of best Mexican players. Vela was born in Cancun, Mexico, on March 1, 1989 and he played for Guadalajara before joining Arsenal youth school in 2005. The pacey left-footed winger played only 29 games for the Gunners in the Premier League before signing a deal with Real Sociedad.
Carlos Vela played for the likes of Celta Vigo, Salamanca, Osasuna and WBA on loan as well before joining the Basque outfit. Nowadays, the Mexican forward is a Los Angeles FC player and it has to be noted that he scored 14 goals in 29 appearances for the club in the 2018 MLS Season. He is naturally gifted player, quick, intelligent and with very good technique.
Carlos Vela did well to win two CONCACAF Gold Cups with Mexico national football team (2009, 2015) and he was named Real Sociedad player of the year in the 2011/2012 and the 2013/2014 seasons. His main position is right winger, but he is used as a second striker and a centre-forward as well.
