Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
After hammering Linfield 5-2 in Northern Ireland, Pogon Szczecin will be looking to seal their spot in the Conference League third qualifying round when the two teams take on each other at Stadion Miejski w Szczecinie in the reverse fixture. The Poles have a firm foothold in the next qualifying round, but they can’t afford any complacency in Thursday’s encounter. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but Jens Gustafsson could use this match to rest several first-team regulars.
Pogon starting XI should see the return of Kurzawa, Fornalczyk, and Loncar. The Northern Ireland outfit, on the other hand, obviously struggle at the back, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on the hosts. As for the away team, both John Robertson and Jamie Mulgrew are pushing for a start after the duo came off the bench in the first leg.
