Our prediction for this MLS match:
San Jose Earthquakes and Los Angeles Galaxy face each other at PayPal Park in the closing match of Thursday’s program. San Jose aim to recover from a 3-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City and the bookies see them as slim favourites to win the midweek clash. Matthew Hoppe is pushing for a start, while both Judson and Nathan Cardoso remain on the sidelines with injuries.
LA Galaxy, meanwhile, showcased their worth in a 3-0 win over Chicago Fire, but they do not want to stop now. The visitors are eager to keep their playoffs hopes alive and given their attacking potential, we believe that punters from all around the world can find value in betting on both teams to score. New signing Billy Sharp is pushing for a start after opening his goalscoring account at the weekend, whilst defender Chris Mavinga misses the game through suspension.

Javier Hernandez or Chicharito is a 27-year-old striker who plays for German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. He began his professional career in 2006 playing for the Mexican club Guadalajara. His first break came in 2010, ahead of the FIFA World Cup, when he became the first Mexican player to join the English Premier League side Manchester United.
He was very effective at United endearing himself to the fans with some crucial goals. Chicharito played for Real Madrid in 2014-15 season on loan and had limited success with them. But he revived his career with a move to Leverkusen in 2015 with whom he has regained his prolific scoring record. Hernandez carries his prolific form to national colors too.
Having made his senior national debut in 2009, Chicharito has 43 goals from 80 games for the national team. He is the second highest goal scorer of all-time for the Mexico national team.

San Jose Earthquakes are members of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer. The Quakes have been participating in the league since 1996 and they won their first MLS Cup trophy in 2001. Back then San Jose outplayed star-studded Los Angeles Galaxy in the title game, but it has to be noted that they scored the winner in the extra time.
Two years later the Quakes managed to repeat the success, with the team beating Chicago Fire in the 2003 MLS Cup final. Avaya Stadium is the home ground of San Jose Earthquakes and the capacity of the venue is 18.000. The construction of the stadium cost no less than $100 million and the venue was opened in March, 2015. The club’s home colors are blue and black, whilst the Quakes wear white and red shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels.
Chris Wondolowski is the club’s biggest star and he has been playing for San Jose Earthquakes since 2009. The USA ace has 121 league goals on his account ahead of the start of the 2017 season.
