Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Mewa Arena will host Saturday’s football game between Mainz and Bayer Leverkusen, the two teams with totally different ambitions for the 2023/2024 Bundesliga campaign. Mainz are desperate to escape the relegation zone and they are likely to leave their hearts on the field in order to grab their first victory of the season. Danny da Costa has joined the likes of Philipp Mwene, Nelson Weiper, Andreas Hanche-Olsen, Maxim Leitsch, Silvan Widmer, and Jonathan Burkardt in the recovery room, with Aymen Barkok likely to step up.
The BayArena outfit, on the other hand, aim to overtake Bayern Munich in top position and seeing that new signing Victor Boniface looks unstoppable at the moment, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting team. The likes of Noah Mbamba, Arthur, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, and Patrik Schick are injured for the visiting team, but head coach Xabi Alonso can count on key players for the Mewa Arena showdown.
