Wolfsburg will be aiming to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund when they take on Frankfurt in the Bundesliga round 6. The Wolves want to keep their 100% record at home intact, but they will have to showcase their worth on the field. All Kevin Paredes, Lukas Nmecha, Kilian Fisher, and Felix Lange are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
Die Adler, on the other hand, have drawn each of their last four league fixtures. France forward Kolo Muani, who joined PSG earlier this month, has been sorely missed and given Wolfsburg’s fine home record, we are tempted to put our money on the home side. Mario Gotze is a German midfielder, who played for Ronsberg and Eintrach Hombruch during his youth career before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2001. He made a great progress during his spell at the Borussia Dortmund’s youth academy and on 21 November, 2009 he made his Bundesliga debut for the Millionaires.
Gotze scored 22 goals in 83 league appearances for the club between 2009 and 2013 and he joined Borussia Dortmund’s bitterest rivals Bayern Munich on April, 2013. The German midfielder, who is capable of playing as a striker as well, failed to impress in the 2015/2016 Bundesliga campaign, but it has to be noted that he was struggling with injury at the start of the season.
Gotze won three Bundesliga trophies with Bayern Munich, but at the end of the 2015/2016 season he returned to Borussia Dortmund. In 2014 he represented Germany at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil and he scored the winner in the final against Argentina. Mario Gotze was born in Memmingen on 3 June, 1992.

It is well known that German car manufacturer Volkswagen are the club’s main sponsors. Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga trophy in 2009 and the likes of Edin Dzeko, Grafite and Zvjezdan Misimovic were part of the club’s golden generation.
You should bear in mind that Grafite and Dzeko scored 54 goals between each other in the 2008/2009 Bundesliga campaign and that the team clinched the trophy thanks to a 5-1 win over Werder Bremen on 23 May, 2009.
