Following a 1-1 draw with Club Brugge in their opener, Besiktas will look to record their first win in the Conference League group stages when they take on Lugano on Thursday afternoon. Besiktas will not have a better chance than this to register their first win of the process, but the visitors should not be underestimated. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be experienced forward Vincent Aboubakar, who sealed the victory against Konyaspor, while Tayyip Talha Sanuc remains on the sidelines with injury.
Lugano, on the other hand, kicked off their Conference League campaign with a goalless draw with Bodo at home ground, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in Istanbul.
