Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Mansfield Town will be aiming to build on a thrilling 4-1 win over Notts County when they take on Forest Green on Matchday 14. The Yellows produced a brilliant display at the weekend, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to secure promotion to the League One. Barring any fresh injury worries, Nigel Clough is unlikely to make changes to the team that outclassed David McGoldrick and Co. in the last league fixture.
The Green Army, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Colchester United and they managed to get one in style (5-0). Forest Green, though, are on a three-match losing run on the road, which is yet another reason why we are going to bet on the hosts this time out. As for the away team, Mathew Stevens is pushing for a start after scoring a brace in the crushing of the U’s at the weekend.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Bowery):
Born in Nottingham, England, on July 2, 1991, Jordan Bowery is a professional footballer who plays for Mansfield Town. Bowery played for a number of English clubs, but we should mentioned the notable ones only.
The Mansfield No. 9 was a part of the likes of Aston Villa, Bradford City, Rotherham United, and Crewe Alexandra in the past. Jordan Bowery joined the Yellows in the summer of 2020, signing for the club on a free transfer. He made his Mansfield Town debut in the League two in a goalless draw with Tranmere Rovers on September 12, 2020.
Bowery scored his first goal for the Yellows in a 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient on September 19, 2020. Centre-forward is the position that suits him the most, but he is used as both left and right winger as well. His preferred foot is right. Jordan Bowery has never played for the England national team.
Highlighted Team (Forest Green):
Forest Green are an English club which was founded back in 1889. The Rovers host fellow League Two teams at the New Lawn, the stadium with the capacity of 5,302. Forest Green played their first home league game on October 6, 1889, with the team sharing the spoils with Brimscombe.
