Brentford
Following a slim 1-1 draw with Luton, Liverpool will look to start a new winning run in the Premier League when they take on Brentford at their Anfield. The Reds aim to keep their 100% record at home intact and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Sunday’s clash. Important forward Luis Diaz, who scored a late equalizer against the Hatters, is pushing for a start, whilst summer signing Alexis Mac Allister misses out through suspension. The likes of Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic, and Andy Robertson are all sidelined with injuries.
The Bees, on the other hand, have been in a splendid form of late, with the team extending their winning run to three games against West Ham, but given Liverpool’s excellent home record, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of claiming a major scalp on Matchday 12. Shandon Baptiste is a major doubt, while all Kevin Schade, Rico Henry, Mikkel Damsgaard, Keane Lewis-Potter, and Aaron Hickey remain in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Mohamed Salah):
Mohamed Salah is considered one of the best African players. Salah began his senior career at El Mokawloon, scoring 11 goals in 41 league appearances for the club and in 2012 he moved to Europe, signing a four-year deal with Swiss side Basel.
The pacey winger, who is capable of playing as a striker as well was producing outstanding displays for the RotBlau from 2012 to 2014 and, as a result, Chelsea chiefs decided to sign him on 26 January, 2015 for a fee of £11 million. Mohamed Salah, though, failed to impress in the Premier league and one year later he was sent on loan to Fiorentina.
After making 16 league appearances for the Viola in the Serie A, the left-footed winger signed a loan deal with Roma on 6 August, 2015. The Romans made the contract permanent on 3 August, 2016. Speaking of his international career, Salah made his Egypt debut on 3 September, 2011 in a 2-1 loss to Sierra Leone. It has to be noted that he was named Roma’s player of the season (2015/2016).

Based in London, Brentford compete in the Championship and they were founded in 1898. Griffin Park has been the home ground of the club since 1904 and the capacity of the venue is 12,300.
The Bees have yet to play in the Premier League and it has to be noted that they made it to the FA Cup sixth round on four occasions (1937/1938, 1945/1946,1948/1949, 1988/1989). Brentford played in the League Cup round 4 in the 1982/1983 and 2010/2011 season and that is the club’s biggest success in the competition.
Brentford’s main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers and they take on each other in the West London Derby. The rivalry with the Cottagers is probably the biggest and you should bear in mind that the clashes between the two teams have their history of crowd violence.
