Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Wolverhampton will be aiming to recover from a 2-1 loss to Arsenal when they take on Burnley in the Premier League round 15. The Wolves did well to beat Tottenham in their last home fixture and, no doubt, that is giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the midweek clash. As both Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes are back from suspension, home win should be considered.
The Clarets, on the other hand, produced their best display of the season in a 5-0 crushing of Sheffield United, but given their difficulties on the road, we predict that the visitors are going to return home with their hands empty. There are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team, but all Jack Cork, Arijanet Muric, and Lyle Foster remain in the recovery room. Manuel Benson should recover in time to face Burnley at Molineux Stadium.
Highlighted Player (Hee-Chan Hwang):
Hwang Hee-Chan is a product of Pohang Steelers football academy. The Korean attacker, who was born in Chuncheon on January 26, 1996, started his senior career at FC Liefering of Austria and he scored 13 goals in 31 appearances for the club. The 177-cm tall striker currently plays for Red Bull Salzburg and you should bear in mind that he netted 12 goals for the club in the 2016/2017 season.
Hwang Hee-Chan won his second Austrian Bundesliga title with Salzburg in the 2016/2017 season, but the Red Bulls eventually failed to make it to the Champions League group stages. The Salzburg footballer made his South Korea debut in a 2-0 win over Canada on November 11, 2016.
Hee-Chan played regularly for the Korea national football team in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers and he scored one goal in the process. The Koreans eventually booked their place at the showpiece tournament in Russia, meaning that the Salzburg attacker will have a chance to prove his worth on the big stage.
Highlighted Team (Burnley):
Burnley were one of the founding members of the Football League back in 1888. The Clarets did remarkably well to win the FA Cup trophy back in 1914 and the club owners have been trying to bring glory days back to Turf Moor ever since.
Burnley defeated Liverpool in the 1913/1914 FA Cup final and, no doubt, this is regarded as the greatest achievement in the club’s history. The Clarets finished the 2015/2016 Championship campaign in top position in the standings and, as a result, they will participate in the English Premier League in the 2016/2017 season.
Burnley play their home games at Turf Moor and the capacity of the stadium is 21,401. The Clarets have won two Community Shield trophies so far, in 1960 and 1973, but they have yet to clinch the Premier League title. Claret is the dominant colour of the team’s home shirts.
