Our prediction for this DFB Pokal match:
Out-of-sorts Eintracht Frankfurt will be aiming to put an end to their three-game losing run in all competitions when they face Saarbrucken in the last 16 of the DFB Pokal. Die Adler have yet to find their best form in the national championship and, no doubt, they are eager to, at least, record a good result in the German Cup. Keep in mind, though, that all Ellyes Skhiri, Jens Petter Hauge, Timothy Chandler, Noel Futkeu, Sebastian Rode, and Mehdi Loune are sidelined with injuries. Both Nkounkou and Chaibi are pushing for a start.
The 3. Liga side, on the other hand, are undefeated in the previous four league matches, but Eintracht Frankfurt will pose a much bigger threat for the hosts than their previous rivals. In their last meeting in a competitive match, back in 2005, Eintracht Frankfurt outplayed Saarbrucken 3-0 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself.
