Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Following a thrilling 5-5 draw with Tranmere, Grimsby Town will look to escape the danger zone when they take on Tranmere on Matchday 30. The Mariners have been involved in some high-scoring games of late and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play against the Rovers. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Sudan forward Abobaker Eisa, who scored a brace in the last league match. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team.
The visitors, on the other hand, failed to impress in back-to-back defeats to Barrow and MK Dons. Tranmere do not seem to be at their sharpest and given Grimsby’s attacking potential, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home side. As for the away team, midfielder Reece McAlear is pushing for a start after the 21-year-old came as a substitute in the defeat to MK Dons.
