All eyes will be on Stade Louis II when Monaco and Paris-Saint German go head to head in the Ligue 1 derby. Les Rouges et Blancs failed to win the previous four home matches and they face an uphill task in Friday’s encounter as well. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Japan forward Takumi Minamino, who scored a brace in a 3-2 win over Lens, while Denis Zakaria serves a one-game ban due to the accumulation of yellow cards. All Mohamed Camara, Ismail Jakobs, Vanderson, and Krepin Diatta remain in the recovery room.
Les Parisiens, on the other hand, came from behind to share the spoils with Rennes at the weekend. The title holders are determined to retain top position in the standings and we predict that they will take advantage of Monaco’s poor winless run at home ground. Former Real Madrid ace Marco Asensio is pushing for a start, while all Layvin Kurzawa, Milan Skriniar, Sergio Rico, and Presnel Kimpembe continue to miss out with injuries.
