Our prediction for this Championship match:
Queens Park Rangers will be aiming to put an end to their three-game winless in the Championship when they take on Birmingham City on Matchday 39. The Hoops are only one point clear of the relegation zone, meaning that Friday’s clash against the fellow strugglers is of big importance for the home side. Ilias Chair is unlikely to feature against Birmingham City, while both Sinclair Armstrong and Michael Frey are pushing for recalls to the starting XI.
The Blues, on the other hand, suffered three defeats in a row before the international break and given their poor away record in the 2023/2024 Championship campaign, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from Friday’s clash. Jordan James is unlikely to start for Birmingham City after playing 120 minutes for Wales in the EURO 2024 qualifier against Poland, while Krystian Bielik and Alfie Chang remain in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Archer):
Jordan Archer is an English goalkeeper who plays for Millwall in the Championship. Archer started his career in the youth team of Charlton Athletic and he moved to Tottenham Hotspur football academy in 2009. However, he did not see a first-team football at White Hart Lane as he was inmeditely sent on loan to Harrow Bourough (2011).
After ending his loan spells with the likes of Bishop’s Storford, Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton he signed a loan deal with Millwall in 2015 and he was soon offered a permanent contract with the capital club. Jordan Archer made 39 appearances for the Lions in the 2016/2017 League One campaign and it has to be noted that he managed to keep 11 clean sheets n the process.
Millwall secured promotion to the Championship at the end of the season as they defeated Bradford City in the final of the League One play-offs. Jordan Archer was born in Walthamstow, England on April 12, 1993.

Birmingham City are a club located in the city of Birmingham, England. Birmingham City were founded in 1875 as Small Heath Alliance, but the club’s named was changed to Small Heath in 1888. 17 years later they became Birmingham and in 1943 they finally changed their name to Birmingham City.
The Blues welcome their rivals at St. Andrew’s, the stadium that was opened in 1906. Birmingham City compete in the Championship and their fiercest rivals are WBA and Aston Villa. The Blues made it to the FA Cup final twice, but they have yet to win the prestigious trophy. In 1931 they were beaten by their local rivals WBA in the title game (1-2), whilst in 1956 they were outplayed by Manchester City in the title game.
The colour of Birmingham’s home kit is blue with white stripe. Trevor Francis, Gil Merrick, Bob Latchford, Jeff Hall, Alex Govan, Joe Bradford and Christophe Dugarry are notable footballers who played for the St. Andrew’s outfit in the past.
