Our prediction for this Premier League match:
All eyes will be on Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when Tottenham and Nottingham Forest lock horns in a highly-anticipated Premier League game. Spurs are determined to book their place in the Champions League and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Reds on Matchday 32. Fit-again Brazil forward Richarlison is pushing for a start, while Brennan Johnson should be fit to face Forest.
The visitors, on the other hand, are fighting hard to secure yet another elite division survival. Nottingham Forest proved their worth in a 3-1 win over Fulham on Tuesday, but given their difficulties on the road, we predict that the Champions-League-chasing hosts are going to pick up all three points from the match. Taiwo Awoniyi remains on the sidelines with injury, whereas Willy Boly is a major doubt and the defender will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
Highlighted Player (Heung-min Son):
Over the years Son Heung-Min has established himself as one of the best Asian footballers. Son is a Tottenham Hotspur first-team regular and he played a very important role in Mauro Pochettino’s team in the 2017/2018 Premier League campaign, scoring 12 goals, while making 37 appearances in the process.
The South Korean footballer, who is well known for his speed and a very powerful shot, was born in Chuncheo on 8 July 1992 and he began his youth career at FC Seoul. In 2008 he moved to Hamburger SV, but he made his senior debut for the Bundesliga club two years later. In 2013 he signed a deal with fellow German side Bayer Leverkusen and he scored 21 goals in 62 appearances in the Bundesliga for the BayArena outfit.
In 2015 he signed a five-year contract with Spurs for a fee of £22 million. Son Heung-min made his South Korea debut in a friendly against Syria in 2010.
Highlighted Team (Nottingham Forest):
Nottingham Forest, the club that are often referred to as Forest, were formed in 1865. They have been playing their home games at the City Ground since 1898 and the capacity of the stadium is 30,445. Nottingham Forest are regarded as one of the greatest English clubs as they won the European Cup on two occasions. In 1979 Forest outplayed Malmo (1-0) at the Olympiastadion in Munich in the final of the elite competition, with the team beating Hamburg in 1980 in the title game at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu (1-0).
Nottingham Forest won the national championship in the 1977/1978 season, with the team finishing the campaign seven points clear of second-placed Liverpool. To make things even better for the fans, the City Ground outfit clinched the FA Cup trophies in 1898 and 1959. Derby County are regarded as Forest’s bitterest rivals and the two local rivals contest in the East Midlands derby. In their first ever meeting in the local derby Forest recorded a 3-2 win over Derby County.
