Our prediction for this MLS match:
Atlanta United will be aiming to build on a 3-0 win over Charlotte Independence in the US Open Cup when they face DC United in the Major League Soccer. Gonzalo Pineda rested almost entire starting XI against Charlotte, but the Mexican tactician is going to field the best possible side against the capital club. Both Derrick Williams and Jamal Thiare are sidelined with injuries, while Xande Silva is a major doubt.
DC United, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team losing to New York City, beating Seattle Sounders, while sharing the spoils with Philadelphia Union. As Troy Lesesne’s troops are not regarded as good travellers, we are tempted to put our money on Atlanta United this time out. Both Conner Antley and Russell Canouse are out of contention for the visiting side, while fit-again midfielder Theodore Ku-DiPietro is pushing for a start.
