Floriana will look to clinch their spot in the Europa Conference League round 2 when the two sides take on each other at San Marino Stadium. Floriana proved their worth in the first leg (3-1) and they are seen as hot favourites to win Thursday’s encounter as well. Barring any fresh injury worries, Darren Abdilla is unlikely to make changes to the team that outplayed Tre Penne a week ago.
The Sammarinese, on the other hand, do not seem to be competitive at this level and given their difficulties at the back, anything but a routine away win would be a big surprise. As Tre Penne boss Nicola Berardi is expected to shuffle his pack, all Grieco, Ceccaroli, Zeka, Casadei, and Giovagnoli are pushing for recalls to the starting XI.
