Our prediction for this Premier League match:
City Ground will be packed when Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth lock horns in the opening match of the season. The Reds somehow managed to avoid relegation last time out and, no doubt, their main goal remains unchanged for the new Premier League campaign. While there are no injury worries in the home team, big-money signing Elliott Anderson is widely expected to make his official Forest debut in Saturday’s match as well as centre-back Nikola Milenkovic.
The Cherries, on the other hand, finished the last Premier League season in 12th position in the standings and they would be happy with yet another mid-table finish. However, home win should be considered as key attacker Dominic Solanke has joined Tottenham for a fee of €64.30m. You should bear in mind, though, that Nottingham Forest are eyeing their first win over Bournemouth since February 2015, when the two sides met in the Championship.
Highlighted Player (Ibrahim Sangaré):
Ibrahim Sangare is an Ivorian professional football player who plays for Toulouse in the first tier of French Football. Standing at 1.91m, the defensive midfielder is known for his "big presence" and " tackling."Sangare started his youth career with Ivorian clubs Tout Koumassi and AS Duenguele and spent a cumulative of five years with the clubs.
In 2016, he left Ivory Coast to join the French club Toulouse FC on an initial one year contract, which later extended to five years. After spending his first few months in the reserve team, Sangare broke into the first team set up as the season progressed. He made his professional debut on the 22nd of October, 2016, in Toulouse's 0-0 league draw with SCO Angers.
As of today, Sangare made 66 appearances for the club in all competitions. Born on the 2nd of December 1997, the 21-year-old has represented Ivory Coast at the under-23 level and the senior level, debuting for both in the year 2015.
Highlighted Team (Bournemouth):
Bournemouth are a professional football club that was formed back in 1890. The Cherries secured promotion to the Premier League in the 2015/2016 season, with the team making it to the English top flight for the first time ever.
Bournemouth play their home games at Dean Court and the capacity of the stadium is 11,469.
The Cherries enjoyed a very successful season on their Premier League debut, with the team beating the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in the national championship. Glenn Murray scored the winner for Bournemouth in the 1-0 win over the capital club at Stamford Bridge and that is probably the greatest victory in the club’s history.
Bournemouth have been participating in the FA Cup since 1913, but they have yet to win the trophy in the prestigious competition. It has to be noted that the club’s original name Boscombe Athletic Football Club was changed to Bournemouth back in 1923 as the club owners wanted the Cherries to be more representative of the district.
