Our prediction for this Championship match:
Saturday’s football game at Ashton Gate Stadium pits together Bristol City and Millwall, the two teams who are determined to record their first win of the season. The Robins played out a 1-1 draw with Hull City in the season opener, but they could have picked up all three points from the match. Talented forward Fally Mayulu is pushing for a start after opening his goal-scoring account against the Tigers, whilst the likes of Yu Hirakawa, Ross McCrorie, and Rob Atkinson are out of contention with injuries.
The Lions, on the other hand, suffered a 3-2 loss to Watford in the opening match of their Championship campaign. As Millwall are not considered good travellers, we do not believe that they are going to spoil Bristol City’s party at Ashton Gate Stadium. The opposition back-line should have Duncan Watmore at bay as the 30-year-old forward scored a brace against the Hornets.
Highlighted Player (Nahki Wells):
Born on June 1, 1990 in Hamilton, Bermuda, Nahki Wells is a 170-cm-tall attacker who plays for the Bermuda national team. Wells is a product of Dandy Town Hornets youth academy and he continued playing for the Bermudan side at senior level.
The experienced striker played for the likes of Bermuda Hogges, Eccleshill United and Carlisle United before joining Bradford City in 2011. After spending three seasons at Valley Parade, Nahki Wells signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Huddersfield Town in the winter of 2014. In 2017 he moved to Burnley, but he played for Queens Park Rangers as a loan footballer in the 2018/2019 season.
Speaking of his international career, Wells made his debut for the Bermuda national team in 2007. He scored his first ever goal for Bermuda in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago. The Burnley man will represent the Gombey Warriors at the 2019 Gold Cup.
Highlighted Team (Millwall):
Based in Bermonsdey, South East London, Millwall are a football club whose supporters have often been associated with hooliganism. West Ham United are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two teams.
The Lions share rivalry with Charlton as well and the two teams first met back in 1921. The Den is Milwall’s home ground at the capacity of the stadium, which was opened in 1993, is 20.146.
The capital club did well to make it to the 2003/2004 FA Cup final, but Premier League giants Manchester United proved to be a big catch for the Lions. The Red Devils won the game 3-0, but despite suffering the heavy loss in the title game, Milwall booked their place in the UEFA Cup. However, Ferencvaros of Hungary proved to be a big catch for the English outfit in the two-legged tie.
Australia international Tim Cahill is considered one of the most notable footballers who whore Millwall shirt (1998-2004).
