Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Expect an electrifying atmosphere at Roazhon Park when Rennes and Olympique Lyon take on each other in the closing match of round 1. Les Rouges et Noirs are eager to make amends for the unsuccessful 2023/2024 season and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against les Gones. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be summer signings Albert Gronbaek, who is expected to improve Rennes’ game. The likes of Leo Ostigard, Hans Hateboer and Glen Camara have joined the club as well.
Les Gones, on the other hand, managed to sign a permanent teals with Said Benrahma, with the likes of Ernest Nuahah and Moussa Niakhate joining the club as well. Alexandre Lacazette could be given a rest following his participation at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Anyhow, both teams to score betting should be considered as both Rennes and Lyon will go for a win in the season opener.
