Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Buoyed by back-to-back wins over Nantes and Montpellier, Le Havre will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they face Rennes on Sunday evening. Le Havre have found their best form, but they need to keep on making progress to secure the Ligue 1 survival. Bearing any fresh injury worries, boss Didier Digard is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Montpellier 2-0 at the weekend.
Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, are six points clear of the relegation zone. As both Rennes and Le Havre should be happy with one point from Sunday’s encounter, there is a big value in betting on draw. The likes of Andres Gomez, Dogan Alemdar, and Alidu Seidu should miss out through injuries for the away team. In the first half of the season, Rennes defeated Le Havre 1-0 and yet another low-scoring game is on the horizon.
