Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
After dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with Braga, Sporting CP will look to return to winning ways in Primeira Liga when they face Santa Clara on Matchday 29. After last weekend’s setback, the Lions have slipped to second place in the standings and will be determined to get back on track promptly. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team, but all Nuno Santos, Hidemasa Morita, Daniel Braganca, and Pedro Goncalves remain in the recovery room.
Santa Clara, on the other hand, are surprisingly sitting in 5th place in the standings. The Eagles, though, failed to impress in a 2-0 loss to Guimaraes, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on the title hopefuls. Adding to their woes, important midfielder Adriano Firmino is banned for the home side due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
