Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Espanyol will try to recover from a 1-0 loss to Villarreal when they face Real Betis in the La Liga round 34. Despite the weekend loss, Espanyol’s form in April has been promising, but they will have a big fish to fry against the high-flying Andalusians. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of Sunday’s encounter.
Los Beticos, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Girona and Real Valladolid. Manuel Pellegrini’s men are eyeing a spot in the Champions League and given their impressive record in 2025, away win should be considered. Aitor Ruibal serves a one-game ban due to the accumulation of yellow cards for the visiting team, while striker Cedric Bakambu is expected to recover in time to face Espanyol. As always, a man to watch in the away team will be former Real Madrid midfielder Isco.
