Our prediction for this Gold Cup match:
Following a heavy 5-0 loss to USA in their Gold Cup opener, Trinidad & Tobago will look to give fans some cheer when they take on Haiti in their second group game. The Soca Warriors failed to impress against the tournament hosts, but they are surely capable of making life difficult for Haiti at Shell Energy Stadium. All Andre Raymond, Dante Sealy, and Nathaniel James are pushing for a start as Trinidad boss Dwight Yorke is expected to shuffle his pack.
Les Bicolores, on the other hand, suffered a 1-0 loss to Saudi Arabia in their opener, but it has to be noted that they failed to turn their dominance into goals. As both Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago will go for a win in Friday’s clash, we are tempted to place our bets on both teams to score. With Leverton Pierre limping off with injury in the Group D opener, Carl Fred Sainte is expected to step up.
Highlighted Team (Trinidad & Tobago):

Trinidad and Tobago national football team compete in both CONCACAF and the Caribbean Football Union. The Soca Warriors are well known for their red shirts and black shorts, with the team wearing white kit when playing on the travels. Trinidad and Tobago made their World Cup debut in 2006, with the team facing the likes of Paraguay, England and Sweden in Group B.
The Carribean side did well to hold Sweden to a goalless draw in their opener, but due to back-to-back defeats to the likes of England and Paraguay, they eventually failed to advance to the knockout stages of the competition. The Soca Warriors recorded their best result at the 1973 CONCACAF Championship, with the team finishing the process as the runners-up.
Dwight Yorke is considered the team’s most notable player. Yorke is one of the best attackers in the history of Manchester United and he scored 19 goals in 74 appearances for the Trinidad and Tobago national team.
