Scotland
Spain will look to get their revenge on Scotland for a 2-0 loss in Glasgow when the two teams face each other at Estadio de La Cartuja on Thursday evening. La Roja rolled over Cyprus 6-0 in their last group game and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Barcelona attacker Ferran Torres has been recalled to the squad, while both Brais Mendez and Isco have been omitted.
The Scotts, on the other hand, aim to keep their 100% record in Group A intact, but seeing that Spain want this win more than the visitors, we are tempted to put our money on Alvaro Morata and Co. Leeds United defender Liam Cooper returns from injury, while left-back Kieran Tierney misses out with injury this time out. Celtic defender Taylor has been called up to replace Tierney in the Scotland squad.

Dani Carvajal is a Spanish footballer who is a product of Real Madrid’s youth academy. After making 68 appearances for Castilla, he moved to Bayer Leverkusen in 2012 and he was producing outstanding performances with the Bundesliga outfit in the 2012/2013 season.
In the summer of 2013 he returned to Real Madrid as los Blancos exercised their buy-back option and the pacey full back has been playing for the Spanish giants ever since. Carvajal won two Champions League trophies with Real Madrid (2013/2014, 2015/2016), but he has yet to win the La Liga trophy with the capital club. Dani has five caps for Spain U21 and he played his fifth game for the senior team against Macedonia in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
He made his Spain debut on 4 September, 2014 in a 1-0 loss France in Paris. Speaking of his individual honours, he was named in the Champions League team of the season (2013/2014). Dani Carvajal has a contract with Real Madrid which expires on 30 June, 2020.

Despite being part of United Kingdom Scotland participate in football competitions as an independent country. The Scots qualified for the 1950 FIFA World Cup finals, but the SFA eventually withdrew their entry as they were not British champions. Four years later Scotland national football team participated at the showpiece tournament in Switzerland, but they were eliminated in the group stages.
Scotland booked their place at the FIFA World Cup on eight occasions, but they have not played a match at the finals of the major tournament since 1998. On the other hand, the Scotts participated at both Euro 1992 and Euro 1996, but they failed to qualify for the knockout stages at the tournaments in Sweden and England respectively.
