Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Tuesday’s football game at County Ground pits together Swindon Town and MK Dons. Swindon aim to put an end to their five-game winless run, but they are seen as underdogs in the midweek clash. The Robins have the worst defense in the League One, and we do not believe that they are capable of keeping their first clean sheet since November 21. MK Dons, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers.
Russell Martin’s men regained a much-needed confidence on Boxing Day, and it is no wonder bookies see them as favourites to win the County Ground clash. Given Swindon’s shaky defence, we predict that the visitors are going to pick up all three points from the match. Ireland defender Warren O’Hora, who suffered an injury in the triumph over Bristol Rovers, is unlikely to feature against Swindon.

The Dons are one of the youngest clubs in England as they were founded in 2004, but they are well known for youth development. English attacker is the club’s all-time top goal-scorer, netting 62 goals in 165 appearances for MK Dons. Dele Alli, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur, is the most famous footballer to have played for the Milton Keynes Dons, netting 18 goals in 62 appearances for the club in the league.
Speaking of notable coaches, it has to be noted that former Liverpool superstar Robbie Fowler and ex German international Dietmar Hamman were in charge of the club.
