Our prediction for this match:
After shocking Moreirense in the last 16, Mafra will look to claim yet another major scalp in the Taca de Portugal when they take on Portimonense at Estadio Municipal de Portimao on Thursday evening. The Liga Portugal 2 side head into the match following a goalless draw with Varzim, and you should know that they are undefeated in the previous four games in all competitions. Portimonense, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Sporting CP and Maritimo.
The Primeira Liga outfit do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the visit of Mafra, and seeing that the visitors impressed in the triumph over Moreirense, away win should be considered. Willyan is back from suspension for the hosts, while Cande represents Guinea-Bissau at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations. In their last meeting in a competitive match the two teams played out a goalless draw.
