Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Deportivo Alaves and Elche go head to head at Estadio Mendizorrotza on day 6 of the new La Liga campaign. Alaves did well to beat Athletic Club 1-0 in the Basque derby before the international, but it has to be noted that defender Duarte was sent off in the dying minutes of the match. As a result, the 24-year-old is out of contention for Sunday’s clash. Elche, on the other hand, have been impressive at the back of late, with the team eyeing their third consecutive clean sheet in the Spanish top flight.
The newcomers are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in Sunday’s showdown, meaning that a low-scoring affair is on the horizon. Taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on under 2.5 goals. In their last meeting in a competitive game the two sides played out a goalless draw.
Highlighted Player (Lucas Perez):

Lucas Perez is a Spanish footballer who plays for Deportivo La Coruna as a striker. Lucas Perez was born in La Coruna on 10 September, 1988 and he started his youth career at Alaves. Between 2007 and 2009 he played for Atletico Madrid C and in 2009 he signed for Rayo Vallecano.

Lucas made it to the Greek Football Cup final with PAOk in the 2013/2014 season, but Panathinaikos emerged triumphant in the title game. On 12 August, 2015, Lucas signed a four-year deal with his home-town club Deportivo La Coruna and he impressed in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign, scoring 17 goals for the Galician outfit.
