Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Elche and Real Madrid face each other in a David-vs-Goliath clash at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero. Elche’s main goal is to secure the La Liga survival, while Real Madrid are on a quest to defend the trophy. Los Franjiverdes have been struggling at the back of late, with the team conceding five goals in total in the previous two league fixtures, and it is no surprise bookies see them as underdogs in the midweek clash.
It has to be noted that Elche have not defeated Real Madrid at home since 1978. Los Blancos, on the other hand, aim to overtake Atletico Madrid in top position in the standings, and given their brilliant form in December, away win should be considered. Both Luka Modric and Eden Hazard are fit for the Elche game, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the title holders.
Highlighted Player (Victor Rodriguez):

Victor Rodriguez is a professional player who began his senior career at Vilajuiga, playing 36 matches for the club and scoring 11 goals. After spending three years at Badalona the pacey winger joined Zaragoza and it has to be noted that he scored six goals in 72 appearances for the Estadio La Romareda outfit in La Liga.
On 7 August, 2014 Victor Rodriguez signed a three-year deal with Elche, but in August 2015 he was sent to Getafe on loan. Rodriguez scored two goals in 33 appearances for los Azulones in the 2015/2016 Primera Division campaign, but following Getafe’s relegation to Segunda Division, he signed a four-year deal with Sporting Gijon in the 2016 summer transfer window.
Victor Rodriguez has yet to make his Spain debut, but he played for Catalonia in a friendly game. The Sporting Gijon winger is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder as well. Rodriguez was born in Barcelona on 23 July, 1989.
Highlighted Team (Real Madrid):

Real Madrid is a Spanish football club based in Madrid. Real Madrid participate in La Liga (Primera Division) and they have won 32 domestic titles. On the other hand, los Blancos have won 13 European Cup titles and that is the main reason why they are considered the biggest football club in the world.
Real Madrid play their home matches at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the capacity of the stadium is 84,454. Cristiano Ronaldo is the club’s most successful footballer in the 21st century and the Portuguese superstar has won two Golden Ball awards.
The likes of Alfredo Di Stefano, Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, David Beckham and Iker Casillas are star players who were part of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the past. Real Madrid’s bitterest rivals are Barcelona, but the rivalry between local rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is big as well. Real Madrid’s home kit is white and, as a result, the team’s nickname is los Blancos (the Whites).
