Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Expect an electrifying atmosphere at Mapei Stadium when Sassuolo and Spezia lock horns in the Serie B derby. The Neroverdi are eyeing a quick return to the Serie A and their displays in back-to-back wins over Carrarese (2-0) and Cosenza (1-0) are surely fuelling fans with optimism ahead of upcoming challenges. Even though important attacker Domenico Berardi remains on the sidelines with a long-term injury, home win should be considered as Sassuolo have found their form of late.
The Bianconeri made a promising start to the season as well and, no doubt, they are eager to remain undefeated. Sassuolo, though, are a real force to be reckoned with at home and that is probably the main reason why we are going to place our bets on Fabio Grosso’s troops. Defender Giuseppe Aurelio continues to miss out with injury, while Spezia goalkeeper Gian Marco Crespi is unlikely to be risked.
