England and San Marino face each other at Wembley Stadium in a David-vs-Goliath clash. England qualified for Euro 2021 without any difficulties, and they are now eager to kick off their 2022 World Cup campaign in style. The Three Lions are a real force to be reckoned with at home, and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field. Both Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and Sam Johnstone (WBA) have been given debut call-ups, while Jesse Lingard, John Stones, and Luke Shaw return to the squad.
As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Spurs attacker Harry Kane, who found the net in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa at the weekend. Even though Manchester United Marcus Rashford is likely to miss the game with injury, England should record an easy win in the opening match of their World Cup qualifying campaign.

Widely regarded as one of England’s best strikers at the moment, Harry Kane enjoyed a meteoric rise at Tottenham Hotspur, scoring 21 Premier League goals during the 2014/2015 campaign to be voted PFA Young Player of the Year.
The highly rated striker went on to surpass that achievement the following season as he helped Tottenham Hotspur mount a serious title challenge for the first time in club’s recent history and he made seamless transition to international football. Kane scored four goals in his first ten appearances for England to prove he was here to stay and at the same time established himself as a first choice striker in Roy Hodgson’s squad ahead of the Euro 2016 finals.
Kane is a modern striker, who is extremely dangerous in the opposition box, but it was some outstanding goals from distance as well as link-up play with teammates that earned him an excellent reputation in world football. Kane is expected to lead both Tottenham and England in years to come, that is if he can resist the lure of top European clubs that continue to cast admiring glances his way.

San Marino played their first official match back in 1990, with the team suffering a 4-0 loss to Switzerland in the European Championship qualifiers. The minnows often serve as a cannon fodder for their rivals in competitive games, but it has to be noted that they did well to hold Estonia to a goalless draw in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
San Marino have yet to record a win in the qualifiers for the major tournaments, but on April 28, 2004 they recorded a hard-fought victory over Liechtenstein in a friendly match and that is considered their biggest achievement. “La Serenissima” welcome their rivals at San Marino Stadium and the capacity of the venue is only 6.664.
San Marino footballers wear blue shirts and blue shorts when playing at home, whilst the colour of their away kits is white. It is well known that San Marino have never participated at the finals of the FIFA World Cup or the European Championship.
