Finland and Bosnia & Herzegovina take on each other at Helsingor Stadion in the opening match of their World Cup qualifying campaign. Finland impressed in the Euro 2021 qualifiers, with the team leaving Bosnia and Greece behind them in Group J. Teemu Pukki and Co. are eager to qualify for the World Cup finals for the first time ever, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Balkan Dragons in their opener.
The good news for the visitors is that Edin Dzeko has overcome his injury. Despite playing for Ajax during his youth career, Niklas Moisander began started playing for Finnish side TPS at senior level. However, after making 17 league appearances for the club in the 2002/2003 season, he returned to Ajax on 5 June, 2003. Moisander played for Jong Ajax in Beloften Eredivisie and in 2006 he joined Zwolle.
The Finnish defender signed for fellow Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar in 2008 and he spent four years at the club. In 2012 he returned to Ajax and he started playing for the Amsterdam Arena outfit on regular basis. After making 77 league appearances for Ajax between 2012 and 2015, he joined Sampdoria on March 2015 on a free transfer.
Moisander signed a three-year deal with the club and he played 22 league games for La Samp in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign. At the end of the season he moved to Werder Bremen. The former Ajax footballer was born on 29 September, 1985 in Turku, Finland.

Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team have been competiting on the international stage since the country declared independence in 1992. The former Yugoslavian republic did well to book their place at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil, but the Balkan Dragons failed to impress at the showpiece tournament.
Bosnia were beaten by the likes of Argentina and Nigeria in the group stages of the competition, but they gave fans some cheer on June 25, 2014, with the team beating Iran 3-1 in their final group game. The Dragons welcome their rivals at Bilino Polje in Zenica and the capacity of the venue is 15.600. Bosnia play their home games in blue shirts and blue shorts, whilst the colour of their away kits is white.
