Our prediction for this World Cup 2026 match:
Suriname and Bermuda go head to head at Franklin Essed Stadion in what is expected to be a lively World Cup qualifier. Suriname kicked off their qualifying campaign in style, with the team rolling over both Cayman Islands (3-0) and Aruba (6-0) in the first two group games. Dean Gorre’s troops are likely to stick to their attacking style of play, and we predict that they are going to keep their 100% record in Group B intact.
Bermuda, on the other hand, bounced back from a heavy loss (1-5) to Canada, with the team crushing Aruba 5-0 in March. Kyle Lightbourne’s men, though, face an uphill task in Saturday’s qualifier, and we do not believe that they are capable of upsetting Suriname at Franklin Essed Stadion. Nigel Hasselbaink, who scored a hat-trick in the triumph over Aruba, will be the man to keep an eye on in the home team.
