Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Stadio San Vito will host Tuesday’s Serie B game between Cosenza and Perugia, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the remainder of the season. Cosenza are eager to secure the Serie B survival, while Perugia are eyeing a place in the playoffs. Considering that the Rossoblu are on a 12-game winless run in the Italian second tier, home win should not be considered. Defender Alessandro Di Pardo, who limped off with injury at the weekend, is unlikely to feature in the midweek clash.
I Grifoni, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Ascoli and Frosinone. Perugia are determined to stay in top eight, and they should take advantage of Cosenza’s poor form. The attacking partnership of De Luca and Olivieri has been in a perfect working order of late, and the duo is likely to prove a handful for the opposition back-line. Kevin Mabille remains in the recovery room for the away side.
