Wigan
Tuesday’s football game at Alexandra Stadium pits together Crewe Alexandra and Wigan Athletic, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the remainder of the season. The Railwaymen are fighting hard to secure the League One survival, while the Latics are eyeing automatic promotion to the Championship. The rock-bottom hosts are on a three-game losing run, and given their slim survival chances, home win should not be considered.
All Mikael Mandron, Scott Kashket, Rio Adebisi, Ben Knight, and Billy Sass-Davies are out of contention with injuries. The visitors, on the other hand, played out a 1-1 draw with MK Dons at the weekend. Since Wigan will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways, we are tempted to put our money on the promotion-chasing visitors. James McClean continues to miss out through suspension, while all Jordan Cousins, Thelo Aasgaard, and Scott Smith are sidelined through injuries.

Donervon Daniels is a 186-cm-tall defender who plays for Wigan Athletic. He was born in Montserrat on 24 November, 1993 and he is a product of WBA football academy. After spending several seasons on loan at Tranmere Rovers, Gillingham, Blackpool and Aberdeen, Daniels signed for Wigan Athletic on a three-year-contract on June, 2015 and he netted his first goal for the Latics against Scunthorpe United two months later.
He made 33 appearances for Wigan in the 2015/2016 League One campaign and no doubt he helped the club secure promotion to the Championship. His main position is centre back, but he is capable of playing at right back as well. His highest market value was €250 000 on May 30, 2016.
Daniels has contract with Wigan Athletic which expires on 30 June, 2018. It has to be noted that that he was awarded WBA Young Player of the Year for the 2011/2012 season. Donvervon Daniels is a right-footed player.
