Utrecht and AZ Alkmaar square off against each other at Stadion Galgenwaard in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Wednesday’s program. Both sides are eyeing a spot in the Conference League, meaning that a lively contest is on the horizon. Utrecht dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with relegation-threatened Zwolle, and, to make things even worse for the home team, goalkeeper Fabian De Keijzer limped off with injury in the MAC³PARK Stadion clash.
All Bart Ramseelar, Tommy St. Jago, and Marc van de Maarel remain in the recovery room, but there are no suspended players in the home team. AZ, on the other hand, produced a fine display in a 2-2 draw with Ajax. Pascal Jansen’s men are eager to secure a top-four finish, and seeing that they will go for a win as well, both teams to score betting option should be considered. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Willem Janssen):
After starting his senior career at VVV-Venlo, Willem Janssen joined fellow Dutch club Roda JC in 2007. The 186-cm-tall centre-back scored 22 goals in 129 appearances for the Black and Yellows in the Eredivisie, and in 2011 he moved to Twente.
After ending his loan spell with Utrecht in 2014, he signed a permanent deal with the Stadion Galgenwaard outfit, and he has been playing for the club ever since. He scored his first league goal for Utrecht in a 1-1 draw with Zwolle on September 1, 2013. Willem Janseen was born in Nijmegen, Netherlands on July 4, 1986, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the national team. Janssen, though, has two caps with the Netherlands U21 team.
His main position is centre-back, but he is used as both defensive midfielder and central midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right. In the 2015/16 season he helped Utrecht make it to the Dutch Cup final, but Feyenoord proved to be a big catch for them in the title game.

AZ Alkmaar are a professional football club that play their home matches at AFAS Stadion. The venue was opened on 4 August, 2006 and the construction of the stadium cost €38 million. AFAS Stadion is able to hold 17 023 spectators.
The Cheeseheads were founded on 10 May, 1967 and they won their first trophy in 1981, finishing the season 12 points clear of Dutch giants Ajax. 18 years later AZ clinched their second Eredivisie trophy, with the team finishing the 2008/2009 campaign with 80 points, 11 clear of second-placed Twente. In 1981 the club made it to the UEFA Cup final, but English side Ipswich Town proved to be a big catch for the Dutch team.
