Montpellier
Following an embarrassing 4-1 loss at Lorient, Lille will look to give fans some cheer when they face Montpellier in the Ligue 1 round 4. Les Dogues failed to impress in the last league match, but it is well known that they produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Both Cabella and Gomes are pushing for a start, while midfielder Adam Ounas remains in the recovery room. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Canada forward Jonathan David.
La Paillade, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 3-1 loss to Reims, but seeing that over the years Lille have turned their Stade Pierre-Mauroy into a real fortress, home win should be considered. Defender Theo Sainte-Luce remains in the recovery room with a thigh injury, but he should be the only absentee in the visiting team.

Born in Montpellier on December 22, 1991, Teji Savanier is a French footballer who plays for Nimes in the Ligue 1 as a midfielder. Savanier began his senior career at Arles-Avignon and it has to be noted that he played for the club from 2011 to 2015.
Ahead of the start of the 2015/2016 Ligue 2 campaign, Teji Savanier joined Nimes and he has been playing for the club ever since. The 171-cm tall midfielder has established himself as a first-team regular at Nimes and he successfully plays for the club in the French top flight. Savanier’s main position is central midfield, but he is used as an attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.
Despite producing fine performances for Nimes in all competitions, Teji Savanier has yet to receive a call-up for the French national football team. His contract with Nimes should expire on June 27, 2018.

Lille have been playing an important role in French football ever since they were founded in 1944. Les Dogues won their first domestic trophy in the 1945/1946 season.
Lille did well to win their second Ligue 1 title in 1954 and 57 years later they lifted their last domestic title. Les Douges finished the 2010/2011 season in top position in the standings, eight points clear of second-placed Olympique Marseille and it has to be noted that Lille attacker Moussa Sow won the Golden Boot (25 goals).
Lille are one of the two teams that managed to win three consecutive Coupe de France trophies (1946, 1947, 1948), but they have yet to clinch the Coupe de la Ligue title. Les Dogues faced PSG in the 2015/2016 Coupe de la Ligue trophy, but les Parisiens proved to be a big catch for Frederic Antonetti’s team in the title game.
