Saturday’s football game at the City Ground pits together Nottingham Forest and Liverpool, the two old rivals. Last time out, Forest defeated Liverpool 1-0 in front of home fans, meaning that Jurgen Klopp’s troops are hungry for revenge. The hosts aim to recover from a 4-2 loss to Aston Villa, but they will have a big fish to fry against the league leaders. All Nuno Tavares, Willy Boly, Ibrahim Sangare, Ola Aina, and Chris Wood are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Reds, on the other hand, did well to beat Chelsea in the EFL Cup final at the weekend. Liverpool are eager to retain top position in the standings and seeing that Mohamed Salah should be fit for the match, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting team. Mohamed Salah is considered one of the best African players. Salah began his senior career at El Mokawloon, scoring 11 goals in 41 league appearances for the club and in 2012 he moved to Europe, signing a four-year deal with Swiss side Basel.
The pacey winger, who is capable of playing as a striker as well was producing outstanding displays for the RotBlau from 2012 to 2014 and, as a result, Chelsea chiefs decided to sign him on 26 January, 2015 for a fee of £11 million. Mohamed Salah, though, failed to impress in the Premier league and one year later he was sent on loan to Fiorentina.
After making 16 league appearances for the Viola in the Serie A, the left-footed winger signed a loan deal with Roma on 6 August, 2015. The Romans made the contract permanent on 3 August, 2016. Speaking of his international career, Salah made his Egypt debut on 3 September, 2011 in a 2-1 loss to Sierra Leone. It has to be noted that he was named Roma’s player of the season (2015/2016).

Nottingham Forest, the club that are often referred to as Forest, were formed in 1865. They have been playing their home games at the City Ground since 1898 and the capacity of the stadium is 30,445. Nottingham Forest are regarded as one of the greatest English clubs as they won the European Cup on two occasions. In 1979 Forest outplayed Malmo (1-0) at the Olympiastadion in Munich in the final of the elite competition, with the team beating Hamburg in 1980 in the title game at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu (1-0).
Nottingham Forest won the national championship in the 1977/1978 season, with the team finishing the campaign seven points clear of second-placed Liverpool.
