Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade Louis II will be the centre of attention when Monaco and Olympique Lyon square off against each other in the Ligue 1 derby. Les Rouges et Blancs aim to build on a 3-1 win over St Etienne and a triumph over Lyon will see them move one step closer towards the Champions League spot. Breel Embolo is pushing for a start as January signing Mika Biereth limped off with injury in the last league match, while Lamine Camara is back from suspension.
Les Gones, on the other hand, aim to move closer to the Champions League berth. Lyon are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s derby and given Monaco’s attacking potential at home, there is a big value in betting on over 2.5 goals. The good news for the visiting team is that important attacker Alexandre Lacazette is back from suspension.
