Our prediction for this DFB Pokal match:
Freiburg and Union Berlin face each other in an all-Bundesliga clash in the DFB Pokal last 32. Freiburg are brimming with confidence following a 2-1 win over Leipzig in the German top flight, and it is no wonder they are regarded as favourites in Tuesday’s football match. Union Berlin, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, with the team sitting just above the relegation zone in the Bundesliga standings after nine rounds.
The capital club kicked off their German Cup campaign with a 6-0 win over Germania Halberstadt at Friedensstadion, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Freiburg. Union Berlin are on a three-game losing run on the road in the Bundesliga, and that is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts this time out.
Highlighted Player (Amir Abrashi):

Despite being born in Bischofszell, Switzerland, Amir Abrashi decided to represent Albania on the international stage. The 172-cm-tall footballer was born on 27 March, 1990 and he made his Albania debut on 14 August, 2013 in a friendly against Armenia.
It has to be noted, though, that he played for Swiss youth national teams (U17, U19, U21). Amir Abrashi represented Switzerland at the 2012 Summer Olympics as well. Speaking of his club career, the Albanian footballer made his senior debut for Winterthur II in a goalless draw with GC Biaschesi on 16 May, 2007. Abrashi made 58 league appearances for the first team as well and in 2011 he signed a permanent deal with fellow Swiss side Grasshopper.
After scoring 5 goals in 100 appearances for the club, he joined Freiburg on 3 June, 2015. Abrashi signed a three-year contract with the Bundesliga outfit. He plays for SC Freiburg as a defensive midfielder, but he is capable of producing fine performances as a central midfielder as well.
Highlighted Team (Union Berlin):

Union Berlin are a German football club originally founded back in 1906. Die Eisernen play home games at Stadion An der Alten Forsterei which can hold up to 22,012 spectators. Union Berlin’s home kit is red, with the team wearing white shirts and white shorts on the travels.
Union Berlin finished the 1923 domestic campaign as runners-up, with the team suffering a 3-0 loss to Hamburger SV in the title game. Speaking of the club’s biggest success in the German Cup, die Eisernen made it to the final of the competition in the 2000/2001 season. Schalke, though, proved to be a big catch for Union Berlin in the decider, with Jorg Bohme scoring a brace for die Knappen (2-0).
Union Berlin will face their local rivals Hertha in the 2019/2020 Bundesliga season as they secured promotion to the German top flight, but Hansa Rostock are considered the club’s main rivals.
