Our prediction for this Ireland Premier Division match:
Monday’s postponed fixture at Richmond Park pits together St. Patricks and Derry City. The Saints restarted the season with a 1-1 draw with Dundalk, with the team doing well to beat the odds. St. Patricks are high on spirits ahead of the visit of Derry City, but this match will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team. The Candystripes, on the other hand, are eager to make amends for a shocking 2-0 loss to Sligo Rovers.
Anyhow, a low-scoring affair is on the cards at Richmond Parkas both St. Patricks and Derry City have been struggling in front of goal at the start of the season. Under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of St. Patrick’s first five games of the season. Seeing that there have been under 2.5 goals in four of Derry City’s five league fixtures, we are unlikely to see goals galore in Monday's showdown.
