Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Lille did well to make amends for a massive 5-1 defeat to Monaco, with the team beating Raon l’ Etape in the Coupe de France at the weekend. Les Dogues aim to climb to the Champions League berth in the Ligue 1 standings, and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play against the Mustards. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Victor Osimhen, who has been scoring goals for fun in the French top flight in his debut season.
Dijon, on the other hand, are on a five-game winless run in the French elite division, with the team recording their last league win on November 23, 2019. Since the Mustards’ defence looks pretty shaky, we are tempted to put our money on the visitors, who are eyeing a place in the Champions League.

Highlighted Player (Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson):

Runar Ale Runarsson is a professional footballer who plays for The Iceland National team and French club Dijon FCO. Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, Alex joined the local club's youth academy in 2012, at the age of seven. On the 25th of July, 2013, Alex made his professional debut, featuring in Reykjavik's 3-1 loss to Standard Liege in a Europa League qualifier match.
After that, he made just three additional appearances for his hometown club before leaving to join FC Nordsjaelland's youth academy in January 2014. In his four years at Nordsjaelland, the 6ft tall goalkeeper made 62 appearances and won the 17/18 player of the season award. In July 2018, Alex joined his current club Dijon FCO on a four-year deal worth 1.6 million euros.
At the International level, the 24-year-old has formerly represented Iceland at every youth level. He was called up to the senior squad for the 2017 China cup. He won his first cap, however, in a friendly against the Czech Republic on the 9th of November, 2017.
Highlighted Team (Lille):

Lille have been playing an important role in French football ever since they were founded in 1944. Les Dogues won their first domestic trophy in the 1945/1946 season.
Lille did well to win their second Ligue 1 title in 1954 and 57 years later they lifted their last domestic title. Les Douges finished the 2010/2011 season in top position in the standings, eight points clear of second-placed Olympique Marseille and it has to be noted that Lille attacker Moussa Sow won the Golden Boot (25 goals).
Lille are one of the two teams that managed to win three consecutive Coupe de France trophies (1946, 1947, 1948), but they have yet to clinch the Coupe de la Ligue title. Les Dogues faced PSG in the 2015/2016 Coupe de la Ligue trophy, but les Parisiens proved to be a big catch for Frederic Antonetti’s team in the title game.
Lille play their home matches at Stade Pierre-Mauroy and the capacity of the stadium is 50.186. The venue was opened in August, 2017 and the construction cost €282 million.
