Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Monaco and Bordeaux face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Stade Louis II on day 9 of the new Ligue 1 campaign. Les Rouges et Blancs experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-1 loss to Lyon, but they are certainly capable of making life difficult for les Girondins at home ground. Wissam Ben Yedder, who was the only bright start in Monaco’s team in the defeat to Lyon, will be the man to watch in the home team.
Bordeaux, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Marseille, with the team beating Nimes 2-0 at home in their last league match. Les Girondins continue with their old habit of impressing on home soil, while struggling on the travels, and seeing that Monaco have turned their Stade Louis II into a real fortress, home win should be considered.
