Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Saturday night's 20:00 kickoff between relegation-threatened teams Strasbourg and Nimes at the Stade de la Meinau will be one of the four same time kickoffs as Ligue 1 rolls on for matchday 13. The away side comes into this game rock bottom and winless in any of their last five league matches. The home side meanwhile has won just two of their previous five, but both those victories came at the la Meinau.
In terms of head to head results, recent history narrowly favors Nimes. Three of the last four meetings between the clubs have ended in a draw while the remaining one ended in a solitary 1-0 away win to The Crocodiles. Additionally, these last four meetings have seen 11 goals scored at an average of 2.75 goals per game. Strasbourg are favorites to win this game. They have won their last three home games and look like a solid outfit, especially when playing at home. Nimes last league win meanwhile, came five matches ago in September, and we believe that winless run will continue.
