Ipswich Town and Sunderland go head to head at Portman Road in what is expected to be one of the most interesting games of Saturday’s football game. The Tractor Boys outplayed AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup last 64, with the team putting an end to their five-game winless run and, no doubt, the triumph gave them a confidence boost. Ipswich captain is representing Egypt at the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Black Cats, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the Tyne and Wear derby, with the team losing 3-0 to their bitter rivals. Sunderland aim to give fans yet another reason to celebrate, but seeing that Ipswich are tough to beat at home, the share of spoils is on the horizon. Hladky spent his youth career at the likes of FC Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, and FC Zbrojovka Brno, and he continued playing for the Zbrojovka Brno reserve team at the senior level.
The 192-cm-tall shot-stopper played for the likes of MSK Breclav (loan) Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, FC Zbrojovka Brno (senior team), and Slovan Liberec before signing a contract with St Mirren. The Czech goalkeeper made his Scottish Premiership debut on January 23, 2019, in a 4-0 loss at Celtic.
Hladky played for the Czech Republic youth teams as well, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Czech Republic senior team. Vaclav Hladky wears the No. 1 shirt at St Mirren, and his preferred foot is right.
